AI is quickly becoming the steam engine of the 21st century, and like that 19th-century marvel, it's remaking the workplace. Some jobs are being eliminated, while others are being created. Meanwhile, some existing positions are being supercharged, allowing employees to accomplish a lot more. This transformation of the workplace is ongoing and no one can predict where things will net out. But as adoption accelerates, we asked the CEOs of four portfolio companies — Cast AI, Andela, Blip, and Cars24 — to share where they’re already seeing changes. Here's what they told us about the roles that are becoming more vulnerable — and those that have become more valuable.
